The secret is, first and foremost, get yourself a heart rate monitor. You can get any type of heart rate monitor that shows your percentage of your maximum heart rate. You want to maintain a heart rate of 60-80% of you maximum heart rate. So if you’re going to be exercising – no matter what type of exercise you’re doing – if you can maintain a heart rate between 60-80% of your maximum heart rate your body will only burn fat for fuel.
You also want to make sure that your diet is consisting of primarily alkaline foods. That’s anything and everything green…. those are alkaline foods. That’s going to keep your body in the alkaline state, prevent a lot of acid buildup in your body. Because when our bodies are acidic they have a tendency to store a lot of fat.
So the two most important things to do is work with a heart rate monitor and also make sure that your diet is alkaline.
